1. The vests received little support at National Council. The
prsentation now includes an alternative that is a bunch of
ribbons worn over the left pocket as usual. The ribbons are
the color of the merit border (which now has a specific meaning)
and a numeral is worn to denote how many have been earned.
This was added since National Council and is in the presentation
shown by Mike Laliberty on April 8 at the NNED District Wide
Commanders Meeting. This version may not yet be on the web.
2. Odd. Screen 4 states in point 3 states: "The outdoor theme will
remain a strong emphasis, but the curriculum will be broadened
to include a variety of other subjects." How one earth do you
understand this to mean, "Royal Rangers without camping"?
