All,
While the Bible says man can not serve both money

for Christians or anyone else to play the lottery.

The Bible doesn't say "thou shalt not play the lottery." The Bible warns against oppressing the poor. Lotteries oppress the poor, because many poor people see even a chance of instant wealth to be the answer to their problems and spend money gambling that they should spend for more important things, like taking care of their families. The Bible teaches good stewardship. To build up a $350 million prize, it took over 700,000,000 LOSING tickets. Look at the odds! Is buying a lotto ticket good stewardship? Some people rationalize buying a lotto ticket as entertainment. Fine. If you win, please tithe on it. Some people get truly addicted to gambling. The Bible warns us not to be bound to anything that interferes with our service to God. The Bible teaches what righteous means of getting wealth are: honest labor and wise investment. Gambling is neither.

I won't condemn all gambling outright, as some is innocent, but I think that if you really seek to follow God's will with your money, you will be too busy wisely spending, giving, and investing it to gamble with it.

Search the Scriptures yourself on the topics of money, wealth, riches, gold, silver, talents, etc., and see for yourself if I am right or wrong.

If you remember "they cast lots" which could be
a game of chance.

Jesus is our example. The Roman soldiers who crucified him are not exactly fitting role models.

Not only did the soliders do this
at the foot of cross, but they cast lots to see who got
what in the promise land. They cast lots to see who
would replace Judas. They also cast lost in the case of
Jonah.

Before the Holy Spirit came in Acts 2, people used casting of lots, not exactly as a "game of chance", but as a way to try to get guidance from God. After Acts 2, we are led by the Holy Spirit, not lots.

If someone won the Lottery and wanted to give to Rangers.
Yes I would take it.

Me, too. Likewise, if I won a lotto game (not likely since I hate to spend money on worthless lotto receipts, but I have been given lotto tickets twice before and it could happen again), I would give both a tithe and an offering from that money, and I really don't think I would have any trouble getting the church to accept it. When was the last time you were asked if you came by your offering money honestly?

But I would ask them to be a leader so  they could see there money in action, and see how many
lives were touched because boys got to camp.

...if he were a godly man.
