All,
I just received a call from my husband, David, who is out with the National
Guard this weekend. He is in the hospital at Ft. Lewis, WA, awaiting
surgery. He fell off a truck and shattered his left elbow - the tip of the
radius is broken in five places. They will operate at 8:00 am, Pacific
Time, Sunday, June 11, to put a piece of metal in and repair the fracture.
There is a 50% chance that David will need a bone graft. I don't really
know what the prognosis is for him to regain full use and movement in his
arm, but I know the power of prayer. Please pray that God will guide the
surgeons, that the arm will heal completely, and that David will regain the
mobility in that arm.
