Hey Duane > The boys often are "poverty struck" with thinking that "money" is what > solves problems and sends the outpost to camp... *It can be revolutionary to > boys to find that by makeing a product and selling it or doing a service they > might *work... and gain two or three fold from the experiance.. And I've got my Pioneer boys earning the money they need to go to a Theme Park. later this year. It going to cost around $350 (AUS) and the boys have already got $200 of that. > Work liberates poverty<G> > Work lubricates friendships... > Work builds teamwork and raises "Morale" It also teaches them about Tithing. They have tithed 10% of what they have earnt. Our Senior Commander tithes any income the Outpost gets (not counting the Pioneer's boys money, we do that ourselves) and we are very well off finanicaly. We have been given heaps of stuff for the kids. While other Outpost struggle to buy the basics because they do not tithe. There's a storm coming, our Storm.
