Faith Crossing had a 4th of July pool party. Our church is a store front
church so we do no have a baptismal font, so we baptize in Pop's (Pastor
Cody's dad) pool.
175 attended with games and food for all! 32 baptisms were performed. 6
come up shouting, baptized in the Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues
(2 of them my boys!!!!! Joshua and Nick), Nick was so drunk in the Spirit he
could hardly walk. 11 were saved. The Holy Spirit fell all over the place.
Pastor's son Les wanted to be rebaptized before he went off to college and he
started shouting under water. Lord have mercy! I have goosebumps all over
while I am writing this! We thought we were just going to have a pool party
with a nice baptismal service but were we in for a surprise! WE even got to
the fireworks!
Also, Pastor 2 weeks ago mandated 24 hour praise and worship with "services"
held 7pm-11pm. I went Thurs. at on time none of us were standing, all I know
is I looked from where I was doing carpet time as a long loud note was
sounding on the trumpet and Pastor was laying hands on the trumpet player and
he was going down, then Pastor laid hands on Pop (the last standing) and they
both went down. Praise God.
The next night some people got so drunk in the Spirit that they had to be
driven home!!! Explain that to your local Police officer!
We are still hoping revival will come to our church at Faith Crossing, pray
for us dear people, we might make it yet.
