It's compelling to me that a GMA Ranger would want to be equal to
the BSA Eagle. I've been told the desire is to reach-out and include
more boys to be ministered too, rather than to exclude boys with
advancement requirements redundent to the mission statement.

If the mission is more important than any individual achievement,
then perhaps what ever we do to *expand the outreach of Rangers
is prudent even if we must let go of equaliviancy...

This is perplexing<G>

So much of the trail to the GMA is writeing and reading.. mayby-
we don't need that... *Where the boys are- is where we should be!

Sometimes we desire to 'prove mastery of a topic by maintaining a standard
redundent to the merit. The effect is then like a obstical course, and to
get to the finish is more important that the material covered or the experiance
gained... Times change. This is under review I'm sure...

Here again we have a difference in opinion over *Ministry and *Program ...

Chuck gained spiritualy from RRangers and made a decision to become a
chaplan. *That's good, because the MAIN THING should be called
"makeing good decisions" and holding on to core values. I say we have
an intrest in developing decision makeing in the hearts of boys because
we are more than just the *spirit man... we are flesh and bone and spirit,
we must work and provide and serve... with our hands and hearts and minds!
