Spirit Rider, et al   I believe that participation in a sports league, i.e. Pop Warner, etc. would qualify a Pioneer if he were that interested in the merit.   Otherwise, wait for High School.   As Duane so deftly put it this is a participation merit. Just as you have to participate in a Wilderness campout as a part of Wilderness Survival Merit. Or to earn the First Aid Merit you have to attend and pass the Red Cross First Aid standard course.   Now if you want a new merit I'm behind you for writing up the Arm Chair Quarterback Merit ;-)   In His Love,   Bob Triphahn Sr. Cmdr.
