Ask me about the parking meters anywhere in Australia. I never could figure
out where to pay for them. It's a wonder I'm not in jail. Also that driving
on the other side of the road will really mess with your mind. It's not just
being on the wrong side of the road it's the other little things, like:
It took me two days to find my rear-view mirror. And I never did figure out
how to use it.
Every time I would try to signal my winshield wipers would go on.
I kept looking over at the car next to me and thinking "NO DRIVER!!"
Getting into the car on the passenger side and having to get back out and go
around.
Going to the driver's side and the person owning that car asking "Are you
driving?"
Shifting with my left hand
In downtown Melbourne they make right hand turns form the far left lane -
some of the time.
Weird signs like: "Wombat Crossing" and "No Overtaking" and "Drunk Drivers
Die"
My wife asking, "When they say Look Right do they really mean Look Left?"
At night when you wake from a sound sleep at the wheel, the white lights
SHOULD be on your left and red lights on the right.
