Rick
Reminds me of my trip to the US. Didn't have any problems with the gear
change as we hired an automatic but my wife and I usually went to get into
the car on the wrong side. The major problem I had was that I tended to veer
to the right when I was driving. It was only after some time that I realized
that this was because I am used to finding my road position by the centre
line which is to my right in England. Once I realized this I adjusted to
positioning the car by the centre line (this time on the left) and I was ok.
Do they have many traffic roundabouts in Oz? I understand they are a source
of confusion for most Americans.
