I want to address the "Let's move on to something elese folks..."
The Presidency of GW Bush (*not the election btw<G>) is an opportunity
to discuss effective management of differing views, positions and
causes.<G>
It's clear that the majority of Y'all are happy with the outcome, and
mindfull
that a fair amount of others a'int<G> If we focus down to the Outpost,
it's
clear that the appointment of the new "Sr.Guide" was a bumpy road!
*Perhaps... in my "word picture" the Outpost Council had to interviene
to hand the position over to Commanders son.. (*Who allways get's the
breaks) and the back row is about to *quit!
WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

*I asked my 16 yr old this question, and he responded faily with a
thought right off the top of his head<G> he said...
"well if I'm the boss I'll order everyone to chill out!"
(I told him that was more effective school bus driver mentality where
you tell the kids to sit down shut-up and hang on!) So he tried it...
*HEY-I'M SR.GUIDE AND LISTEN UP!
Clearly, you don't need a brain to go with the flow when everything is
honky-dory and go'n yur way! Heheee.. *But when you try something
and it don't work so hot... *think about working with... people<G>
*HEY! -I'M SR.GUIDE...... and I want your experiance of this outpost
to be the best thing that ever happened to you! I want to work hard..
to make sure you have a say in it, and that we make things happen!
*So yes! we have "princeipals" but we apply them to life in such a
way that when we are done we are better for it.<G>
*Yes we have "authority" but allways stop to prefer another, and be
polite.
Think about this:
It's not the arrivial that's important but the quality of the journey
that makes
for a fine trip<G>
