*Ok... the frackus is starting to settle down and we can
watch the new man (Gee Dubyah) dance a new tune.
My guy.. Sen.John McCain is pushing for campgn finance reform
and is headed for a head-on collision with the new adminstration.
Lot's of Y'all would expect GW to offer a slot on the "cabnet" to
McCain as a token for his support... *But I predict McCain will
turn the offer down. The real action is in the 50-50 senate!
McCain beleves the *first order of business is to end the "hog trough"
mentality that generates the need to aquire millions in "soft money" by
our elected officials, and divert their attention from the real job of
governing this country and acting for the good of the *people who
send them there.
GW Bush wants to propose "education reform" first.... and I predict
he'll propose evry goofy thing *BUT election reform<G> *Y'all will
"buy it" too, because his greatest skill is *charm... and you will see
GW's "Bob Jones style conservitive values" erode as he moves to
the center and "smoozes" the Democrats<G>
A good question to ask the new President is for his opinion of
"Gay's in the Military" *Not to press him<G>, but to be a
test signal of his core values....
*Just for fun.. I'll take a guess.. *GUESS MIND YOU!

"*I'm instructing the joint chiefs to prepare a report on policies
that include any problems they find in that area and submit it to Dick
Chenney
who will brief me, and if a decision is needed I'll make it at that time...
next question"
