*Thanks Ken for not outright flameing my thinking<G>

This subject was the topic of Ross Perot's run twice, and it
made sence to me following a sermon in our church by a fomer
congresswoman Linda Smith (R) of SW Washington.

She was defeated for a Senate seat by as much her Republican
friends as the opponant, for not playing the "soft money game".

As a member of Congress you must raise $10,000 a week or more
to build a "war chest" for re-election. This is done by "meeting people"
and entertaining them.. *listening to their "council" as they slip you a
check.... The process is perverse, demeaning, and disruptive to the
duty we "think" we have elected these mortals to do. Bill Clinton-
Al Gore *and GW Bush are expert at this "game".

That it is low, on the "radar screen" just shows the "power" of the special
intrest to difuse attention. GW Bush spent $10 million in So.Carolina
during the primary... *Why? That's one question.. another is where
did the money come from? GW Bush refused federal matching funds so
that he would not have "limits" placed on his spending... or have to report
the sources of his income.

Dollar for dollar, Bush and Gore raised a profane amount of money,
to choke the air waves with propoganda and confuse everyone with
claims...followed by counter claims, denials followed by smears...

What is the "potential" for corruption when that amount of money is
changeing hands? What assures you and I that our elected officials
are doing OUR business, over selling out piece by piece our nation
to the highest bidder? Those that gave the most... might well expect
to *recieve "influence?"

*This 'stalemate or potential for "gridlock" is going to drive compromise.

What I am senceing is that Rangernet fans of Bush want him to be a
man of character and princeipal as Ronald Reagan was, and have over
looked GW's frathouse history and un-conventional social abilities to
make friends<G> Time will tell, and he has pledged to return "dignity"
to the whitehouse. As I understand it, he has a lose style of governence
and deligates much of the work to others as he feels his best skill is
in quick assessment of options. As a proponant of the "Patrol Method"
I concure in some of this thinking... and will give him credit as he works
to build respect, and trust.

*Therefore I pray for the appointment of Good people to his administration
as THEY will carry the *moral force that gives drive to action.

Many beleve these are the very last days before the return of Christ!

The political forces that play a role in profetical word, would then
be assumed to be in place at this time. GW Bush does not personaly
have demonstrated experiance in a world setting, but is the son of
a former president who put a coilition of enemies togather, headed
the UN as well as the CIA! The Father/Son link is strong, and I
remember well the "phrase" *New World Order...

Thanks-
*Let the church roll on!
