Duane, rest assured I will not charge up to my Pastor and challenge him re
what you or most anyone (that does not include my husband) says.

Though it has been said the offensive quote was not sound doctrine. I know
the heart and anointing to rests on my Pastor. I love him and is wife very
much, I cover them in prayer and would never do anything to disturb that
precious anointing.

It is not my place to challenge my Pastor. He is my shepherd here on earth.
I thank God regularly for the shepherd he has placed us under.

There have been too many signs and wonders and also too much seeking of the
Lord's face (if you seek only the hands you loose the favor, for where the
face of the Lords is there is favor)for me to question him over this one
quote.

First and foremost he is merely a human. More importantly he is in
authority over me as the Lord has placed him and as my husband has placed
him. If I disturb that coverage of anointing then woe to me for the
consequences.

I am sure I will get some interesting replies from this, but I don't care.
I have come a long way in learning to be submissive and surprisingly I have
found I like it (a couple of years ago I would have choked on that
statement). Re: submission--it is very new to me and the funny thing is now
my husband doesn't know what to do. If we have a tiff, I look at him and I
say I'm sorry for whatever I have done to upset you and I ask your
forgiveness and I forgive you for how you are making me feel right now.
Then I tell him I love him and walk away while he stands there
stunned--<LOL> I Love the Lord!

*Warning-

Do not quote me as the final word or use my reaction as a wedge
in any way to dispute your Pastor... My opinions are free and easy,
and I come from a long line of sermons where statistics are used for
drama with little evidence to back them.

*As an "example"-

I've heard Ranger men, in dist. and regional roles quote to me about
some official "Policy" and have it come a surprise that they had never
*seen such in writeing....but mearly assumed such and so on.. and suggested
that I was somewhat insolent to dispute their words...

*They find it usefull to "preach" a certian logic string... *say- that
"Rangers
is about Men and Boys, and what part of that do I have a "problem" with..."

...and I frankly saw that it wasn't going to bless the program for me to
call them on their words, though I personaly knew them to be short sighted.

*Like JFlory points out-

Man made doctrine is likely to be riddled with error...

Very

I've just come from a old-line Pentecostal family dinner that had 'problems
with fleshly trivia and scripture to back their criticizum... My feeling was
that we should keep makeing the main thing, the main thing and not get
so hung up on "shall we drink Coke from the bottle or a Glass- What would
Jesus do?" *I'm prone to flame ignorance, but compelled to LOVE
a brother or sister in Christ who asks a good question...

There fer-

*Have a nice day<G>
