That point is exactly why it is so very important to have a pro-life president, and
why the idea that the president can't do much about the abortion problem is very
wrong. It is the president who appoints U. S. Supreme Court judges whenever one dies
or retires. In a four-year term, it is rather likely that the president-elect will get
a chance to do that. Even one justice changed, right now, could make a serious impact
on the righteousness of the court. On top of that, the president does have a certain
amount of executive authority as commander-in-chief of the armed forces, among other
things, that allows him to set policy that tends more towards respect for life or
towards easy murder of unborn children.
