It is in the upper 60's in Dallas, today. I just went for a walk in the sunshine
outside. It was colder last weekend, and even snowed, but the snow and ice melted much
faster than it would in Colorado, especially in Breckenridge. There isn't a snowflake
in sight, here, even in the shade. Of course, when the streets do get icy, here, it is
much more dangerous because people aren't used to it or ready for it. In fact,
steel-studded snow tires are illegal, here. Fortunately, if you just ignore the ice,
it goes away almost as fast as if you actually dealt with it like you would in
Colorado with snowplows, sand, and de-icer.
