Sure-

Look in yur LTC course for the section where you suspect
"something" abnormal with a boy. Behavior sometimes is
a reflection of deeper trouble that YOU are not qualifyed to
handle. *Council with the Childrens pastor, before you
allow the boy to distroy your Ranger outpost.

I beleve the Parents are well intentioned, but also
"burned out" and poverty struck for resources.. They
desire their son to fit.. and hope your Outpost will
be the key to knocking off the rough edges!

*It isn't!

Public schools would ask for a medical evaluation.
BSA Scouts would require a copy of his latest health
check and look close to see he is takeing any recomended
medication. If behavior was disruptive they would ask a parent
to act as an personal aid to assist him in your meeting,
or the boy remain at home.

Also- do not touch this boy, scold this boy or allow
anyone to shake him, lecture him or ridicule him. Their
are problems here. *DANGER!

I was recently talking with a Doc..

He told me that recent advances in medication have revolutionized
the treatment of people, in ways that only surgery had impacted
people in the past. That is that a proper treatment can lead
to "giveing" Life back to a tourtured person.

You.. your church and the parents may beleve medical treatment
is not needed, but be carefull to not *with-hold aid to a child.

Our duty is first to do right..

We provide PEACE!
We feed the children-
We cloth the children-
We shelter the children-
We care about the children-

*And that is ...ministry to CHRIST!
