A question that has not been asked..Does the boy's parents know who he is
going to lunch with and have they said okay? Although I would still not be
comfortable with the situation, I would be more comfortable if the answer to
my question above was yes.

"IN PUBLIC" seems to be the biggest issue here.

I would consider them to be "in public" if:
** They met outside the building on the sidewalk.
** They traveled to and from their lunch spot by public
transportation(bus...)or on foot.
** They ate in a restaurant in plain view of others.
** They parted company in front of the building where they met.
** At NO TIME were they alone together.

Is this extreme? Yes!

But lets be realistic. We live in a world where a brotherly hug may be seen
by others as something else. Lawsuits against churches are big business and
usually get high exposure in the media. It is difficult for a church to
survive this exposure.

I have met Spirit Rider and talked with him. I do not question his motives
or his spirit. Unfortunately, everybody in his community can not say the
same thing --- I don't think everybody has met him yet.

My advice ---- try to stick with the "2 deep" method.
