Does anybody out there feel like National office should have done a nationwide vote to see if the majority of outposts in the United States would have wanted or not wanted or agreed with the new changes in the Royal Ranger program.  I've talk to a lot of commanders who are angry with the new changes and the loss of "uniqueness" that the old program had in comparision to the Boy Scouts to which the new changes more closely resemble now (ex. awards vest for new merit badges and an American flag).  I for one liked the program just the way it was and feel they should have done a nationwide vote among the outpost of the US.  This is after all suppose to be a democratic nation after all, and I we're going to now be wearing an american flag on our uniform then thats even more of a reason for the national office to have done it in a democratic way.
