Rob, the first as I said started his own firm. That has been his dream for
years and it was no surprise when he left. The second was accused, and I
believe falsely, of sexual harassment. I say falsely because I know what
type of women attract that him and the accuser is so far from his type that
it is beyond belief. I am praying for him.
The firm is a good firm. They allow us to have Bible Studies every Friday
and we have something called "V-Mail" (the v stands for vertical) and it is
for prayer requests, praise reports, and general edification of the
Christians that work within the firm. There is such a strong Christian base
here that you can see us hugging in the halls and if one of us is having a
bad day or is under attack we just go put out the call and go into an empty
office close the door and we have prayer. It's not unusual to have someone
come out from a closed office saying "hi, just had to do some ministering".
It is also fiscally strong, one of the top 25 largest firms in the nation.
So it's not the firm. I'm just the redheaded step-secretary. I am pryaing
that God will give two attorneys whom I can work well with, learn from and
still have the ability to take part in church funtions as I do now.
I pray favor over this firm and we in the study believe that the main reason
the firm is so strong is the freedom they allow us.
