Thanks for the additional information, I'll look into all of it.    Alas, my wayward FCF Rep. made it back home yesterday & gave me a set of copies out of the Discovery Rangers Workbook & Merit Book.  I will have to get my hands on the full blown Daisy Book to see what the difference is between them. If I remember right, the Daisy had the boys actually shooting the guns at targets, where the Firearms Safety Merit only has them handling them.    We will be able to borrow a set of Daisy BB Guns, but by next year we should be able to borrow a second set as my church is supposed to get some.  The instructor has several types of firearms of his own that he can bring as well.      We have scheduled the class to run about 4 hours and will award the actual Merit to the boys after the class at their local outpost.    Jim Hufferd
