Just from experience...25 years of it as a SBC Telephone man. It's toooooo complicated. Folk can barely figure out how to get a phone to work let alone deal with all the problems a computer throws into the mix. Yes some use it. I have talked over it as well. It's not as friendly as a cell phone...what did you say. Hang on... ok you said ... your cutting out... you there?...that is a conversation over a cell phone.
A phone line in a house is simply just too inexpensive and to handy not to have. Unless of course your a college student with no real dependents at home. Then it makes ..a few.cents... not to have one. Grin! One thing we do need to consider. If it don't get paid for one way...it will get paid for by another way. p.s. I am working 7 days a week 7:30 am to 7:00 pm until further notice. I am on my 11th day straight so..if I start getting a little mean...forgive me and pray for me either way. Money's good but the tailend is dragging the ground.
