Then, I started lisening to "Cathloic answers live" on the drive home and reading
a book by former Assembly of God Youth pastor Tim Staples..."Nuts and Bolts"
*Now I'm reviewing what "Right to Life" means from a deeper perspective of haveing my Dad laid up in a secular nurseing home and under "Hospice care" in the state of Oregon. Pope Bennie 16 had some interesting insight. He's very straight and to the point about issues. It would please me to see my Dad moved out of state or to a Cathloic facility.
I'm not the primary ward or guardian however-
At one time I would have jumped at the chance to take on a Pentecostal or a Catholic and argue all kinds of doctrine from my Jehovah's Witness Bible...most of it taken right out of context most of it really didn't matter... as I get older and wiser and more grounded on my belief in Christ I see the differences and rely on God the Holy Ghost to do the convicting and fixing. Yet on the other hand... a good ole fashioned debate just might be the ticket to stir some of us up and get us all growing again.
We all suffer from bad preach'n and teach'n.. We all need a shot of truth
and a memory swipe.. Take the term 'Infallibility... the Bible sort'ah says:
"It's appointed unto man one life, and then the judgement"
But Lazr'us died.. was raised up and *I supposed died again in old age<G> Folks got Jesus mixed up with Ellija/Ellisha? who also raised up the dead.. Several times we read of the dead being raised up again to life...
My 18 year old AG daughter who is heading of to CBC in Spfd has been dating a born again Catholic boy who attends AG and Catholic Mass and they share enough of the same values that I ain't at all worried what might come out of it all.
*While I of course know what you mean... *I worry e'nuff as a Dad of a 20 yr old
