Absolutely correct, Mark! I am certainly PRO-Israel. both country and peoples.
As to anti-Israel = anti-God . it's certainly the impression that the Bible gives throughout the Old Testament. Many nations have laid in God's wake due to their opposition to his Chosen peoples. According to scripture. these other opposing nations today will face the same fate. For this very reason, I would conclude that Anti-Semitic attitude, behavior or practice is SATANIC. directly from the pit of Hell. A mighty, forgiving and loving God we have when it comes to His grace. we're no different than Israel. We'll praise one moment and curse the next if the circumstances bother us. I'm all the time having to check myself for attitude that is not in line with WWJD. I can be happy and praise God when the day is going good, then by the end of the day, when some circumstance pops up that is not to my liking, I have to fight off the urge to get discouraged. The People of Israel are a perfect example of what we are to be. and not to be. Look how God blessed them when they were in line with God's will. and look how he chastened them when they got out of step. This that they are going through in this century is no surprise to anyone, considering the thousands of years they were left scattered, due to their OWN actions. God STILL calls them his chosen people. that certainly means he's not through with them yet. That's GOOD NEWS for us! If God is willing to love a rebellious people for thousands of years, even though they managed to forget him once and a while. there's hope for US. That's GRACE .. That's LOVE . that's AWESOME!!! Even the non believers recognize the clear history of Isreal and how a little group of people seem to have Some ONE looking out for them. I would not recommend anyone to be anti Isreal. That is the same thing to me as saying they are anti God. God disiplines the ones he loves. Jews are a very peculiar people...but only a fool would disregard the bible and not take up for them. It's clear that Isreal will go through "Jacob's woes" because they rejected Jesus. However our God is faithful to every promise and he will see Israel through to victory. I would caution any Christian that dislikes Israel to take a step back and see where that hate is comming from. It's not from God that is for sure. Walk carefully. Israel is God's chosen people. Regardless of the nation or a sect of them...they are none the less God's Choosen people. I wouldn't know one from the other...best play it safe and be in the backing and blessing of Israel. That is one reason this country is strong. We have the blessings of God on us. Even if we are like a bunch of non-thankful Isrealites walking around in the wilderness with the blessings of God.
