hello,
i reported a spam (see attached). i then checked to see if it would be
flagged as spam. razor-check, at min_cf=ac does not flag it. but
with min_cf=ac-1 it's flagged. this is fine for me. i'll just set
my min_cf to ac-1. so that spam i flag myself (but which perhaps
no one else has voted on) is flagged. i have a few questions:
1. is there a way to query my own trust rating? i'd like to know
if it's too low (so that i can avoid reporting since it would
be pointless). also, will there be a way to view my own
reporting history (spam messages, and perhaps a summary of the
voting patterns on the same spam by others). this might
help me learn what kinds of spam not to revoke or what kinds of
spam not to report. since it only indicates how others have
voted (and that, only in summary) perhaps that doesn't leak
enough information about TeS and scoring to help spammers?
2. will cloudmark sell licenses to run a razor server?
i work for a small ISP overseas. bandwidth is scarce there and
having our own nomination server (updated at off-peak when bandwith
is unused, or even in realtime, but at least only once per spam
rather than the same spam being checked with the global servers
every time it's received) would help a lot.
spammers could be prevented from polluting the global database
by having the global database accept spam reports only from
trusted servers. or reports could be always to the global
servers, with downstream servers being just proxies or caches
for razor-check.
3. given that a spam that i reported myself is not flagged as spam
when i check for it again, are there tips on how to set things
up (apart from setting min_cf=[n<ac]) so that spam that i
reported myself is always flagged?
