I have found a copy of the spam of 12/30/02. The message is
Base64-encoded and is unmodified. BTW I have installed DCC and it is
marked as bulk there (Fuz2=many). When I run razor-check -d, it says

[ 8] Client supported_engines: 1 2 3 4
[ 8] prep_mail done: mail 1 headers=498, mime0=2994
[ 8] mail 1 Subject: Good news for eugenep
[ 6] preproc: mail 1.0 went from 2994 bytes to 359
[ 5] Connecting to truth.cloudmark.com ...
[ 8] Computed supported_engines: 2 4
[ 6] mail 1.0 e=2 sig=qxkKXVP5uPLNCmV3db4_MIbTZWsA: sig not found.
[ 6] mail 1.0 e=4 sig=qxkKXVP5uPLNCmV3db4_MIbTZWsA: sig not found.
[ 3] mail 1 is not known spam.

Thus, the signature is not even found there!
I ran razor-report -d again and it said

[ 5] Connecting to hubris.cloudmark.com ...
[ 8] Computed supported_engines: 1 2 4
[ 6] -a=r&e=1&s=_pqrIOzr__hOkQSDTXFeAQ7CrwMA

[ 5] mail 1, orig_email, special case eng 1: Server accepted report.
[ 5] mail 1.0, eng 4: Server accepted report.
[ 3] Finished report.

Two hours later I ran razor-check -d once more, still "sig not found."

1) is it possible that by the time you are reporting it, the body of the
email was modified substantialy and not in the same format it is at the
MTA
when you check the emails? (ie: base64 conversion, extensive in-body
banners, etc)?

2) have you looked at the debug output when you do a report and/or
check? (
ie: razor-check -d)

As for hurting your trust rating, I'm fairly sure neither case you
mentioned should affect your TeS rating. Vipul himself (on Tue, 26 Nov
2002
in the thread "Trust and self-revoking accidental submission"), has
stated
on this list that revoking your own mistaken submissions is a good
thing,
and doesn't hurt your TeS rating. I can't see why razor would care if
you
accidentally multi-submitted the same email.
