Razor2 has been packaged for Debian, but it's in the "unstable" distribution and you have to upgrade to perl 5.8.0 and glibc 2.3.1 (also in "unstable") due to dependencies, so it forces a fairly major upgrade on you.
This is exactly what I did about 48 hours ago. The installation went smoothly, but unfortunately Razor2 isn't entirely working for me. I can query with razor-check fine, but when I try to register to enable me to start reporting spam I get a timeout. Here's the tail of the output from "razor-admin -d -register": Jan 22 00:20:32.158111 admin[21344]: [ 5] 88196 seconds before closest server discovery Jan 22 00:20:32.158676 admin[21344]: [ 6] hubris.cloudmark.com is a Nomination Server srl 71; computed min_cf=1, Server se: 0B Jan 22 00:20:32.159340 admin[21344]: [ 8] Computed supported_engines: 1 2 4 Jan 22 00:20:32.159823 admin[21344]: [ 8] Using next closest server hubris.cloudmark.com:2703, cached info srl 71 Jan 22 00:20:32.160182 admin[21344]: [ 5] Connecting to hubris.cloudmark.com ... Does anyone know what the problem is? Is it a server problem or a configuration problem at my end? Cheers, Mark.
