Yes, *all* network checks come with the drawback of very noticeable processing time increases. Because, go figure, they have to go out over the network.
Razor is a bit more noticeable than DNSBLs because unlike DNS, razor data is inherently constantly changing, and thus not cachable.
Is there a way to make Razor2 more efficient?
No, aside from getting a better network connection for yourself and donating money to cloudmark to buy better razor servers.
