Yep, looks the same to me too. The settings seem to be the same in 9.5 as they
are in 10.5, but for some reason in 10.5 that weird character is actually
printing in my forms and reports. Maybe I'll submit to RBTI

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Proper LINEEND character? Users have been pressing
Ctrl-Enter within a memo field to insert carriage returns. Works fine when
displaying in forms and reports. When converting from 9.5 to 10.5, carriage
returns are now showing up as a physical printing character rather than a
linefeed. This is the "show char" screen, which is identical to 9.5, but for
some reason in 10.5 this physical character is what prints rather than the
carriage return (in both forms and reports): R>show char
BLANK
DELIMIT ,
LINEEND þ
SEMI ;
QUOTES '
PLUS +
SINGLE _
MANY %
IDQUOTES ` I'm assuming I need to change the LINEEND to something,
but I'm not sure what. I've tried a couple combos of CHAR values but nothing
is producing a carriage return for me. Anyone know? Karen --
