Patti,
Have you tried using the integrated PDF Form
Controls in the Report Designer, in order to
provide PDF output to others so data can be
inserted into the fields. Users can then fill,
save, distribute, submit, and add digital signatures to the form.
There are eight different controls. Each tool is
used to create the respective field type.
·PDF Annotation
·PDF Push Button
·PDF Text Field
·PDF Check Box
·PDF Radio Button
·PDF Combo Box
·PDF List Box
·PDF Signature Field
Once objects are added to the report, standard
properties e.g. alignment, resizing,
justification, and font, can be altered for the PDF Form Controls.
After creating a PDF Form Control on the report,
additional properties are displayed when right clicking on the control.
In the R:BASE Report Designer help, please review
the "Understanding PDF Form Controls" technical document.
The the RRBYW20/RRBYW19 sample databases, review
the "PDFOrderForm" report, which is a sample
order form Using PDF Form Controls.
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak
