No, you're setting the "initial directory" to an actual directory, which I know how to do.
On this network, if I was to click on Windows Explorer it comes up like the attached, with "This PC" in the selection box at the top, and the list of all the directories and drives at the left. I consider this the "top most" level of windows explorer, and this is what he wants to see in the loadfilename box Karen -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Thu, Apr 29, 2021 12:08 pm Subject: RE: [RBASE-L] - Loadfilenameplus with initial directory #yiv5398186231 #yiv5398186231 -- _filtered {} _filtered {}#yiv5398186231 #yiv5398186231 p.yiv5398186231MsoNormal, #yiv5398186231 li.yiv5398186231MsoNormal, #yiv5398186231 div.yiv5398186231MsoNormal {margin:0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:sans-serif;}#yiv5398186231 a:link, #yiv5398186231 span.yiv5398186231MsoHyperlink {color:blue;text-decoration:underline;}#yiv5398186231 span.yiv5398186231EmailStyle19 {font-family:sans-serif;color:windowtext;}#yiv5398186231 .yiv5398186231MsoChpDefault {font-family:sans-serif;} _filtered {}#yiv5398186231 div.yiv5398186231WordSection1 {}#yiv5398186231 Karen, I use the below code in one of my applications. Don’t know if this is what you’re looking for. Paul SET VAR vweekday = (TDWK(.#DATE))SET VAR vfullpath = ('C:\BAO\' + .vweekday + '\') CLSSET VAR vcommand = ('PLUGINS loadfilenameplusplus.rbl vFileName |FULLPATH OFF +|TITLE Select File |VIEW_MODE DETAILS |FILTER All PDF Files (*.pdf)#*.pdf +|INITIAL_DIR' & .vfullpath + '|MULTISELECT ON |SHOW_HIDDEN OFF |NO_CHANGE_DIR ON +|OK_BUTTON_CAPTION Done') &vcommand From: 'Karen Tellef' via RBASE-L <[email protected]> Sent: April 29, 2021 10:57 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [RBASE-L] - Loadfilenameplus with initial directory I've never tried this before. I want to use the Loadfilenameplus plugin and have it come up with the topmost level, which would be "My PC" when I just bring up windows explorer on its own. That way the user can start with his own Pictures or Documents directory, the hard drive, and all network drives. I don't see a way of specifying that top level with the "initial_dir". Is there a way to do that? Here's the most basic syntax of what I'll be doing, with the root of C showing. PLUGINS loadfilenameplus.rbl "vFilename|fullpath on + |TITLE Please select your Complaint JPG files + |VIEW_MODE Details + |FULLPATH ON + |NO_CHANGE_DIR ON + |INITIAL_DIR C:\ + |FILTER JPG Files (*.jpg)#*.jpg"Karen -- For group guidelines, visit http://www.rbase.com/support/usersgroup_guidelines.php --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBASE-L" group.
