Doug:  Something that Javier said made me think of something too.  I thought
when you do a PROPERTY TABLE ... REFRESH, it repeats however the form was
brought up in the first place.  So if you did an EDIT USING form WHERE ...
ORDER BY yourcolumn ASC, wouldn't that second "refresh" restore the ascending
sort?

div.yiv1546384673WordSection1 {}-->I use this construct with Enhanced Grids:
-- Sort table by DistrictPROPERTY vciKCMOFeaturesBase SortASC
'CouncilDistNo'RETURN  I primarily use ascending sorts but I believe “SortDesc”
should work the same way; also, I always use columns names rather than column
number, this way I don’t have to check with which column I am working . Have
you tried removing one or both “REFRESH” lines? One more thing, be sure your
component ID does not have a blank at the end. When you paste into the
component ID box, the Editor adds a blank at the end and it is/was a nightmare
to find it…ask me how I know. I have not checked recently and I am not sure it
still does this. You ca also try:  PROPERTY TABLE YourTableName
'RestoreOrderBy'  To restore it to the original sort and then run your sort
PROPERTY command. Lastly, try running the sort command line twice in a row, you
never know what might happen. 😊  Javier,  Javier Valencia, PE913-915-3137

Subject: [RBASE-L] - PROPERTY SORTASC doesn't  PROPERTY <Component ID> SORTASC
'0'  sorts Descending instead of Ascending - see screen shot of TRACE below.
The object is an Enhanced DB Grid, ComponentID - EDBG_PT, on a temp table,
tSHPT.
'0' is zero, not alpha Oh.
Using column name instead of index - same results.
True of other columns - they sort DESC instead of ASC.
Manually clicking column header sorts ASC/DESC as expected

Form got trashed?
Any suggestions?

Doug
