"... two rows of data identified by a unique number."

To be clear, is this a key value common to the two rows, e.g. "householdID"?

as in:

10001 | party1
10001 | party2

Did this for a series of gala invitations a while back, happy to dig it up tonite.

Best, Bruce

Subject [RBASE-L] - Put together two rows of data from one table

Goal: To creating an address label that has two separate names concatenated – for a mailing label. For example: Myron Finegold and Susan Shapiro. (The street information and the city and state are easy)

The data: We have a table that tracks the owners of a house. (we have about 17,000 houses and 30,000 rows of data) So, if there are two owners there will be two rows of data identified by a unique number. Party 1 – first name and last name and other information; Party 2 first name and last name and other information.

I’ve never done this and I’m not sure where to start. What is the best way to pragmatically do this?

Thanks in advance. Myron Finegold / Sheriff’s Posse of Sun City West
