Back in the "old days", I would usually email RBTI support and ask them to
give me a list of computers activated for a client. With that list, I would
then ask my client to see if they could tell by the computer names which ones
are active or not, and then I would email or call RBTI back and ask them to
deactivate certain ones.

Thanks for the suggestion. At least one computer I suspect has a Rbase license
is not running and I can’t see if it is installed on that old machine.

As long as those other computers are up and running, you would bring up RBase
on that computer, and go to Help / Product Activation. On the screen that
comes up, there's a "deactivate" button at the bottom. In theory, that will
free up a license. But I'm pretty sure (don't quote me) it works only if
you're on a supported version, which I think is only version 11 right now. But
you could try it to see what happens if you aren't on 11.

I haven’t managed R:Base licenses on multiple computers in a number of years.
We have all of our licenses in use and I suspect there are several on PCs not
using the software anymore. I’m not sure how to see the licenses and computers
using the software so we can free up some copies.
Thanks for any guidance where to find this information.
