Title: RE: [RBASE-L] - WINDOWS XP ACCESS PROBLEMS
Thanks Ed. Razzak you of course are right staying current is always the best policy. Procrastination and busy schedules can get the best of you in the worst ways some times.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - RE: WINDOWS XP ACCESS PROBLEMS

Hi Stephen

>Has anyone experienced any problems with accessing Rbase with windows xp.
>We are currently using Rbase v6.5+ 1.839xRT03

I've had this problem intermittently, but with windows 2000.
Didn't matter whether the database was being accessed over the network or
just locally on my laptop. Also most of our users had the same problem accessing
it via win2k terminal server from all points of our WAN. At the time we were
using a combination of win95 & win2k terminals(now win2k only).
I gave up trying to figure it out ages ago and just lived with it.
Now that we've upgraded to v6.5++ 1.862xRT03 the problem has magically disappeared.
Might pay you to do the same.

Regards
Lucas
