Karen,

I never used a 16-bit version of Windows. I went from OS/2 to NT, then
eventually to XP. However, when I upgraded my NT laptop to XP, it
warned me that my version of PC Anywhere could not be run on NT,
and that I had to uninstall PCA before I could install XP.

(I told my one remaining PC Anywhere client that we had to upgrade
him to NetOp.)

I also have had huge problems with printer compatibility with old serial-
port printers, trying to share them on a network that has a mix on NT
and XP. Planned obsolescence, or something. Bill Gates probably
gets a rebate from HP or Lexmark for every printer that has to be
replaced because of a new O/S.
