Eric, that was brutal, brutal, brutal ! You're missing the point here !!!! What I'm saying is that you don't always need a tractor trailer to go down the street to the grocery store, any old car will do. I have many clients who just want to write a simple letter, or sent e-mail, or make a list. They don't need a major league software suite to do this. If I am writing a manual, with title pages, contents, footnotes, index, etc, then of course Word or WP is the right tool (or even Star Office, for the Linux enabled). Actually, I never said MS softwre sucks, I just think there are products out there that are more in tune with what the end user needs. Not everyone is a braniac, or blindly following the MS bandwagon. BTW, nothing personal taken by your coments - this "off topic" really has taken on a few lives, hasn't it? BC
