Hi, I came across another problem, on my workstation this time. I was getting access violations when using prnsetup at the R>prompt that I wasn't getting before I reinstalled from the current Rbase 7.0 CD that was shipped to us on 10/17/2003. To fix this, I had a copy of the RBG7_Release_Version.zip dated 10/1/2003 and unzipped that to my workstation. The prnsetup now works.
I haven't tried installing the RBG7_Release_Version.zip to the server that I was having ODBC problems with but this might be a option. That is exactly what I have experienced as well. Taking your advise, I will try to uninstall RBase70 and see if that cures it. I need Rb70 on it so what is the solution?? This is on a Win2000 Professional workstation.
