Mike:

It's kinda all over the place.  This is one of those reports that in DOS used
to be about 5 different reports printed on 1 page.  Using a temp table and
lookup tables, I was able to get a one-page report.

The subscripts can be anywhere on the page.  It can be in the middle of a
one-sentence lookup that's printed as an introduction to a table, located in
a break header.  Then it could also be in the middle of any one of the scientific
table data , such as (this is bogus data):
You must watch the percentages of H20 compared to others.  Such as:
    Filtered H20                 30 - 20
Mix of sugar and H20    10.5
Get the idea?  And the kicker is that I can't play around with the fonts in the
report.  Since it is mostly printed tables of data (the above is actually about
6 columns of numbers) they want it in courier, and the header information is
also in courier.  Using the Alt-key combinations they are able to enter Alt-186
when they're entering the data to get the degree symbol -- they never knew that
so at least THAT made me look good!

Yes, they do have Micrsoft Word where you can enter a subscript.

Karen,
Do your Users have ANY Editor that they can use to create their text with
Sub/Super Scripting?

Do the Reports mix other DB data with the Text that contains the  Sub/Super
Scripting on the same page?
If so, to what extent?  Is it just page headings or is it interspersed with
the Sub/Super Scripting?
