Dennis: A couple of suggestions: Are you using their browser or are you using MS Explorer; if you are using their customized browser, there is a good chance that it loads their support center software even if it is disable in the startup, there may also be a place (within their software) where you can change this startup option. I ran into similar problems with SBC/Yahoo and their customized browser and I got around by using a plain vanilla MS Explorer; you may also consider using Motzilla's Firefox, once you have a valid connection. You can use any browser you want. As far as your mail is concerned, does it allow you to redirect you mail to a third address? If so, you can open a free account on Hotmail or Yahoo and have your mail redirected to that account and then you can retrieve your mail from that account using Eudora.

They only support Outlook and Netscape for email and I like Eudora. So, I am only able to receive email on DSL and must use dail up for outbound.
