I 'assume' then that plain white stock paper also
moves 20mm. If so, what manual controls exist
on the 7410?

Our OKIDATA ML320 Turbo and Texas
Instruments 830 printers all allow setting the 
Top Of Form (TOF) manually with a button
labelled TOF. Could the user have it set to
move the 20mm?
