Karen,

I still use several computers with 5 1/4" drives.  I am able to
run RBase 7.6 for Dos on a Intel 486 Clone with 64MB of memory
using Window 98.  Actually I run using the underlying DOS mode
without loading windows. RBase runs fine.  

Don't knock it until you try it.  Since you are an authorized
developer why not download a NFR version and try it out on their
machines.
