Yes, I have realized that (and a good many other things, as I read 
through the Tutorial and all the other documentation for 7.6!).
I was actually lamenting my earlier failure to cultivate good habits, 
rather than proposing to try using such an old (12 years?) version of 
RStyle -- although it would probably make a decent job of tidying up 
my similarly-aged code.
I'm looking-forward-to-but-also-sort-of-dreading seeing what the 
latest version of RStyle makes of my old stuff...
