I tried the Zebra designer driver (Zebra tech support suggested it) but I could not get it to read the label gaps correctly and it also freezes. Went back to the Zebra LP2844 1.0.0.35 driver and it works perfectly 90% of the time. It's that 10% that is making me crazy. I'm trying to eliminate Bartender from Seagull Scientific and move them to all RBase labels. The only label they have trouble with is 2.25 x 1.25 and they print all day long on several different systems. Tried every work around in RBase I could think of. Even went from a label to a report trying anything to stop it. Think I going to call Zebra again. Dan, There was a probem (not R:Base) when Zebra bought Eltron. Zebra created it's own designer drivers that when UPS bought Zebra printers and discovered that the drivers didn't work, UPS threatened to return all of the printers. Zebra recanted and rolled back out the Eltron drivers (the facts may not be as presented). I am currently using the Zebra TLP2824 printers and drivers with no problems with R:Base. I use two of these printers and have not experienced the issue you had. I had some problems finding a good print driver version. The sticker at the time was zebra but it was still eltron inside. I will post the version of driver I am using tomorrow. I have a very simple label program I wrote that is used heavily printing hundreds of small print jobs a day (1 to 100 labels at a time). The variable form (and RBase 7.6 compiled app) freezes several times a day. I have tried several different Zebra printer drivers with no improvement. It happens on several different computers and printers and label forms while some labels print with never a (reported) problem, but they are not used as heavily. Has anybody else had problems with this printer or screen freezes when printing? Most of the time the labels print, but focus never returns to the form. Kenny
