Vista?   Or  XP   Vista watch the Admin rights very carefully.      Also
just out of curiosity are you using cmd or bat  (I think that was it.
Without research)  I try to compile any bat/cmd into an exe and then I
get less error's   Just My .02

Thanks for the ideas and suggestions.   

 

So when this happens is it a cause for concern?  The procedure I was
running today gathers data in to a file only, no updates or inserts,
then runs a batch process in a dos window, then repeats the process 500
or so times.  Reviewing the log files it appears that everything ran
properly except the displayed error message.

 

I'm pretty sure I have all the rights I need since I'm an administrator
on the server (I double checked my rights too.)

Whenever I see this error it is because I do not have full control in
the security settings under the folders properties tab.  Check that and
also make sure the user has full control under the sharing tab -
permissions if you are using this over the network.
