We had a similar problem back in the 7.1 or so days, but it was consistent - always black. We could print to a PDF then print the PDF and it was fine. I think it may have had to do with printer drivers, but I think RBTI also tweaked something. Anyway, try printing to PDF and see what results you get - if it is good, look at your printer drivers. I have an image on a report. Ocassionally this image will print as a dark blotch. So there may be 35 pages that print fine, 2 with a dark spot, 15 fine, 3 with dark spot, etc. This image has the following properties; Center MaintainAspectRatio Stretch Any ideas appreciated. Jan
