A recent version, although possibly not the very latest version of 7.6. I'm not convinced that the problem is coming from R:Base at all, at least, R:Base for Windows. The network at this particular client is a little "funky" from time to time, and I'm assuming that's where the problem is arising. Also, they occasionally attach some old R:Base for DOS routines to the database. However, was there a fix in the latest release that corrected a known indexing problem? The issue mostly seems to be that occassionally a given row is duplicated in one of several indexes on a table, but not others. If that was a known problem, and has been fixed, I'll certainly make sure they upgrade. -- Larry
