The report shows up on the screen and looks great but when you try and
delete a sentence you have to do it one word at a time and the spaces that
are left when you delete a paragraph connot be closed up without a lot of
manipulation ie one word at a time.

I used to send the report to a file and it would show up as IA5 format. I
could open it in Word Perfect or Word and manipulate the data as if it were
written using Word Perfect or Word.

I use Rbase to gather and manipulate data and then send it to my clients
using a word processor.

Maybe I'm not smart enough to use 7.6

RBDos of any flavor never printed to anything that was editable in word
unless it was a plain text file.

You can still do that, but you need to select a generic text Printer driver
to receive the output.

What exactly is difficult about editing an RTF file?
