While in Form Designer, all pasted objects are placed 5 screen pixels to the right and 5 screen pixels down. While in Report/Label Designer, all pasted objects are placed 8 screen pixels to the right and 8 screen pixels down. This feature is implemented to visually differentiate the actual object(s) vs. the newly copied/pasted object(s) so that they don't overlap each other, without stacking a whole bunch of similar objects not knowing the fact that the object(s) have been copied.
