Has anyone run across the following error
message when loading and XLS spreadsheet?
I am receiving documents from a new web site and
cannot get RBase to load either the XLS or CSV
format. The XLS format issues the above
message while the CSV format causes the system to hangup.
Any ideas on what I should be looking for????

The error message suggests that the file is open
and locked, perhaps by another user.
Do you receive this message if you try to perform the LOAD locally?
