Gary,
I have received this error at times. You may want to right click on the file itself, go to Properties, then the General tab and make sure it is not a read only file. Sometimes a file will come through like that. " ...file.xls exists but is not a storage object." I am receiving documents from a new web site and cannot get RBase to load either the XLS or CSV format. The XLS format issues the above message while the CSV format causes the system to hangup. Any ideas on what I should be looking for???? Thanks Gary
